WSSC prepares to launch new billing system this weekend - en Español

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Laurel, Md. – June 28, 2019 – WSSC is improving and modernizing the way we approach customer service with a bill that is easier to understand and a new, modern and simplified rate structure. To implement the enhancements, we are launching a new billing system that will require the closure of our Customer Service Center for normal business operations starting at noon on Friday, June 28 through Monday, July 1. There will be no Customer Service Center agents available by phone or email during this time, as WSSC staff will be preparing and transition to the new system. We will resume taking calls on Tuesday, July 2 at 8:00 am .
During this transition, customers should know that WSSC will suspend water service shutoffs.
